Richard Smith canot be accused of standing still, with the paint barely dry on Spice Market Cafe before he re-invented his venue for a more localised diner.
Quirkily, early-bird diners get to pay according to the time they arrive; so someone ordering at 5.22pm, pays £5.22 for a main course.
With fairly hefty price tags, this helps enormously on the final bill.
Nothing extraordinary about the food, although it is presented creatively and the place has a good buzz about it.
It's relaxed and almost bohemian in style; ideally suited to Eccesall Road.
A good selection of vegetarian options and daily specials on the plethora of blackboards, along with regular favourites on the menu, mostly influenced by Sheffield's famous Henderson's relish, which has been reduced and spiced up to ad zest to burgers, pork dishes et al.
This will appeal to the local residents, but sadly not many students will fel able to indulge.
